These card shaped tracking devices work well with the iOS "FindMy" app. They are simple to use and they add to the app just like an AppleTag. They are about the thickness of 2 credit cards.

This is a life saver. It has a speaker so that you can hear your wallet whenever you lose it. The tracking works well too! One thing I wish it had was the ultraband that Apple puts in their products, so that you can lead your phone directly to the wallet.

I works with Apples ""Find My"" app, it charges cordlessly with Magsafe, and it is sufficiently thin to fit as easily in my wallet as a slightly thickish credit card.

Unfortunately for me, the faint sound that it makes diminishes its value for the purpose I most wanted it for, finding my wallet at home. At home, Ive trained myself to put my wallet and keys in the same place as soon as I get home. It was a good, useful habit to acquire when I was working more regularly in my office.

My job, like those of many others, changed during the Covid-19 lock-down. Now I work much more on a small workspace at home. I try to be need, and have arranged to keep two laptops (Windows and Mac, a tablet, a cell phone, a Bluetooth keyboard, a large multi-outlet GaN charger, and lots and lots of cables all in a 2x3"" corner of a big closet. Without consciously planning, I, one device at a time, bought all those items in black. (I remember thinking, ""Black is more professional, and I need to remind myself that although Im home, I am also at work.) And my pens are black, and my paper calendar is black. AND MY WALLET IS BLACK! And - somehow - middle age snuck up on me during the lock-down, and I need more light to see. And I leave paper notes to myself scattered about (so I dont forget what I need to do, if only my notes werent piled on top of my other notes.

In short, I cant find many things, including my wallet, even when its within arms reach. Finally - and this has happened more times than Im happy to report - when I do go out, these days I tend to forget about the special place that I learned to stow my keys and wallet, and leave them in whatever pocket of my jacket or pants that I thoughtlessly found convenient.

If I cant find my wallet amidst the clutter of my workspace, the Find My app, is happy to tell me where my wallet is - somewhere in the home located at the address I live! Thanks a lot!

If I have the app play its quiet alarm sound, and my the Wallet Finder is in my jacket, its difficult to hear. If I was careful enough to hang my jacket in the closet - well, thats the ballgame. I might not find my wallet until I go out again and need my jacket. (And if I dont have my wallet, sometimes that means theres no point in going out to a store.)

I admit, I just painted a worst-case scenario, although one that has actually happened.

Somehow, in all the many years of being out and about, Ive never lost my wallet away from home. Away from home, Im careful. Even post-lock down home means still means ""kick off your shoes, empty your bulging pockets, grab a snack thats not part of my diet, and relax.

Therefore, I do recommend this device for most people, but not so much for dunderheads like me."

Works better than even thought. It’s roughly 2 1/2 cards thick and and feels like a premium product.

Devo dire che trovo in generale, gli Airtag forse la migliore innovazione, l’unica reale, economica ed utile innovazione introdotta nel mondo della telefonia negli ultimi anni.

Credo che in tanti sappiano di cosa si tratta, ma per quelli che non lo sapessero chiariamo che si tratta di una tecnologia, appannaggio (in questo formato) dei soli apparecchi IPhone più recenti, che consente di sapere dove si trova il nostro dispositivo Airtag, e se si vuole, farlo suonare per evidenziarne la posizione fisica.

Sfrutta una genialata. Infatti per auto localizzarsi si connette alla rete (di milioni, forse miliardi) di Iphone esistente. I possibili utilizzi sono infiniti: attaccate un oggetto di questo tipo al gatto o al cane, alle vostre chiavi di casa, al vostro ombrello (se è di pregio), nascondetelo nella vostra auto o nella vostra moto, o, anche nella vostra bici, mettetelo nella vostra borsa professionale o nella vostra barca… perdere qualcosa sarà improbabile, recuperare quello che vi hanno rubato, possibile.

Dopo questa dichiarazione d’amore per la tecnologia, andiamo al nostro. In questo caso, si tratta di una scheda, delle dimensioni di una carta di credito, spessa un po di più, che quindi può essere facilmente inserita nel portafogli, come ho fatto io, oppure, nella borsetta dei documenti dell’auto, ha infatti abbastanza l’aspetto delle schede che vengono fornite con i codici dell’autoradio dell’auto, e nulla impedisce di etichettarla per ingannare il potenziale ladro.

Il collegamento è semplicissimo ed una nota di lode va alla ricarica Wireless, basta infatti posarla sopra un caricatore per ottenere una completa ricarica. Utilissima la funzione sonora attivabile, in tempo reale, dal proprio Iphone, conosco un amico che ha recuperato il portafogli che gli era stato appena rubato in un Pub, facendo suonare l’Airtag nella tasca del ladro. Che dire, bellissimo ed utilissimo oggetto, facilmente mimetizzabile, anche economico.

Piccola, necessaria, notazione; E’ illegale, se mai vi fosse venuto in mente, controllare e spiare le persone, anche se parenti e/o congiunti, quindi questo bellissimo oggetto non dovrà essere utilizzato per finalità diverse da quelle per cui è stato progettato ed è legale l’utilizzo.

Per chi ha conoscenza e tecnologia, è anche facile ritrovandoselo in auto o in borsa, risalire al titolare dell’Airtag, e quindi dare corso, giustamente, alle conseguenti azioni legali. Non è una micro spia. Può diventare un Boomerang.

In sintesi:

• Piccolo, sottile, ricaricabile, perfettamente mimetizzabile, tante doti.

• Funziona perfettamente. Non è una microspia.

• La durata effettiva della batteria (di norma mesi), non si conosce e non è dichiarata, piccola incognita.

Francamente ne consiglio l’acquisto (anche più di uno) , per la tecnologia, perfettamente funzionante ed il particolare formato, carta di credito, ed attribuisco serenamente 5 stelle."

"Per il costo pari a quello degli Apple AirTag posso dire che troviamo un prodotto MIGLIORE e 100% compatibile.

Dunque il network per ricercare il dispositivo è il più grande offerto sul globo (basta che ci sian un iPhone nei paraggi ed il prodotto è tracciato, in tutto il mondo)

I vantaggi, secondo me, rispetto allAirTag sono due:

- la batteria è ricaricabile, basta un qualsiasi wireless charger. Io non avendolo nei paraggi ho usato il reverse Charge di un mio Samsung ed è andato tranquillamente. Si accende una spia rossa mentre si carica, che diventa blu arrivato al 100%. Una carica completa ""dovrebbe"" assicurare 5 mesi di uso. Questo ovviamente non posso giudicarlo, ma anche fosse dunque meno dei 12 mesi di un Apple AirTag, il tempo di poggiarlo su un wireless charger una sera e via, anziché fare la fila al tabaccaio, scoperchiare il Tag, cambiare la batteria, etc.

- è davvero sottile, non si hanno problemi a metterlo in un portafogli. Questo con loriginale AirTag non sarebbe stato possibile.

Ha sia un cicalino (lo si ascolta mentre fa il primo pairing) sia per farsi trovare dalla app Apple Find My (ripeto, è totamente compatibile con essa)

Provato a verificare, una volta sbattuto dentro uno zaino della figlia, il tracking è stato egregio.

Per caricarlo bisogna poggiarlo su un piano wireless charger con il lato con la spia LED rivolta verso lalto.

Per ora davvero perfetto. Io lo preferisco allApple AirTag per quanto di cui sopra.

Il manualetto è ben fatto e spiega le varie combinazioni dellunico tasto di accensione per associarlo, resettare lassociazione, invocare sulla app le info contenute allinterno (nel caso qualcuno lo dovesse trovare), spegnere, etc.

Ecco, forse il fatto che si possa anche spegnere non è che sia il massimo, dato che un ladro potrebbe farlo, però la combinazione mi pare di ricordare fosse piuttosto difficile, dunque deve arrivare preparato."
