ip. The Pebblebee Clip I have is the 2nd generation Clip, which was the first to work with Google's Find My Device network. The results of those tests indicate that the YaoTag has better bluetooth capability. This is probably the most important differentiator. When I'm not nearby, its location is reported more frequently. And, ""nearby"" is a larger area. Once inside the ""nearby"" range (which is when my phone can connect to the device via bluetooth), the Pebblebee Clip is a little easier to find. They both seem to beep at roughly the same volume, but the Pebblebee makes a lot more beeps at different pitches. And, it has a flashing LED that can make finding it very easy in some situations. Confusingly, the YaoTag package says ""Ultra Wideband not available in all regions"". As far as I know, Ultra Wideband (UWB) is not available yet with Google's Find My Device in ANY regions, and this YaoTag doesn't have the necessary hardware when it becomes available. Neither does the 2nd gen PebbleBee. Another difference is that the YaoTag has a replaceable battery while the PebbleBee has a rechargeable battery. In 9 months of use, the PebbleBee hasn't need recharging, so, I don't think the difference is huge. The 2nd gen PebbleBee Clip for Android has been discontinued and replaced by the PebbleBee Clip Universal. It might be better in all respects, I don't know. Since it can be used with either Google or Apple, it might support UWB on Android if Google activates that someday. Even though the YaoTag isn't the best in every way, I'm giving it 5 stars because it is half the price of the Pebblebee. The biggest complaint I have about Google's Find My Device vs Apple's Find My isn't that one network is bigger or better. And it's not that Apple-brand trackers support UWB (the beeping and blinking have been good enough for me). It's that there are inexpensive trackers available. Now, with YaoTag, there are for Google as well ... though not quite as inexpensive."

great. You basically just press the button once to power the Bluetooth Tracker. It makes a sound and then you see it pop up in the Google app. I am not sure how long the battery will last but they are easy to replace and the previous ones I used lasted a year for me. This is a nice alternative to pick up and I would recommend it.

ly larger than the Apple AirTags and the AirTag accessories like wallets, covers, etc. Don't fit the YaoTag. The Apple AirTags are1.26 inches (31.9 mm) in diameter and 0.31 inches (8 mm) thick. The Android YaoTag are 1.14 inches (29 mm) and 0.30 inches (7.8 mm) thick. Hopefully these will increase in popularity and more accessories/holders will be available in the future.

ot automatically detecting them which was due to not having ""scan for nearby devices"" turned on in my phone's settings. I'll update if I run into issues. But so far so good and I like that the battery is replaceable unlike most other tracking tags. Instructions to turn on ""scan for nearby devices"" so you don't have to search for it. Once I had this turned on, and the find my device app open, they popped right up and I was able to rename the tags and start tracking them. manually turn on nearby scan: 1.Go to your phones Settings. 2.Open ""Google"". 3.Tap on ""All Services"". 4.Select ""Devices"". 5.Enable Scan for nearby devices. Your YaoTag will then appear in the ""Available Devices Nearby"""
